The Phenomenon “Salzburg Festival”

At the heart of the exhibit, the visitor is faced with the central installation, which sums up the phenomenon “Salzburg Festival” and at the same time becomes a poetic kind of work of art in and of itself - the World Stage. After all, the Festival has brought the world to Salzburg, and taken Salzburg out into the world.

On a stylized stage, a special performance takes place: the performance of performances, in every sense of the word.

This performance is repeated without breaks, so that visitors can enter at any time. However, there is also the possibility of demanding other content through various buttons which show another aspect of the 90 years of Salzburg Festival history, but in a similar kind of overview.
